Are you ready to take the next step in your career?

Addovation is currently looking for motivated individuals who want to help our customers digitalize their business processes using modern ERP systems such as IFS Cloud and NetSuite.

With us, you’ll have the opportunity to use your prior experience to grow within the IT industry!

About the program

Our Consultant Program is designed for those motivated to apply their previous knowledge to become a Business Consultant within one of our ERP systems. The program is what we call an extended introduction, blending theoretical knowledge with practical experience in customer projects.

The program is focused on three main areas

Learn IFS or NetSuite from a consultant’s perspective. Take part of an extended introduction and onboarding into the system’s modules, as well as knowledge sharing with Addovation’s skilled colleagues and network. You will participate in either NetSuite’s or IFS’s partner training sessions.

Throughout the program, you will gain knowledge of IFS or NetSuite and have the opportunity to specialize in a relevant module area, such as Finance, Manufacturing, Service & Asset, Supply Chain, or others.

You will also learn more about Addovation, our journey, values, and how we work together.

What happens after the program?

During the program, you will gradually transition into your role. After completing the program – which serves as an extended introduction – you will have a good foundation to fully step into the position.
As an IFS Business Consultant, you will focus on improving and streamlining business processes within your area of expertise, using either NetSuite or IFS Cloud.

What will you be doing?
You work closely with the customer to understand how their operations function (depending on your area, such as purchasing, production, finance, and service) and identify areas where improvements can be made. This often involves holding workshops, gathering requirements, and aligning with key stakeholders.

Based on this understanding, you design solutions using the ERP system’s capabilities. You configure the system to fit the customer’s needs, sometimes working together with developers.

You’re involved throughout the entire project lifecycle—from initial analysis to implementation and go-live. You also support upgrades, rollouts to new regions or companies, and ongoing improvements. Along the way, you train users, create documentation, and ensure everything runs smoothly.

In your role, you act as the bridge between business and IT—working with technical teams, performing tests, and making sure the system truly supports the customer’s goals. Common tasks include leading workshops, configuring the system, writing documentation, offering advice on best practices, and supporting during go-live.

Who you are

We are looking for individuals who is curious about the role as consultant and have a strong interest in digitalization and business processes. The program is for those with a few years of relevant work experience who wish to switch career paths to the IT and enterprise systems industry.

You have a university or similar education in economics, technology, IT, or similar, and experience as a user of enterprise systems or practical experience in a role within one of our customer’s business areas. For example, you may have worked as an accountant, controller, logistics coordinator, production planner, or similar.

Experience with enterprise systems such as IFS, NetSuite, or other ERP systems is a plus but not a requirement – we will provide you with the tools you need to succeed!

Why Addovation

We offer continuous professional development and certification opportunities within IFS and NetSuite. Over time, you will also have the chance to progress internally into roles such as Solution Architect, Project Manager, or Lead Consultant in your area of expertise.

Meet two of our Addovation Program Alumni

“As a former participant in the Addovation consultant program, I can say that it was a great start of my IT career. I had little experience of the IT industry and ERP systems, but the support and guidance I received from my colleagues made it a lot easier to get into the system and consultant role. I am now part of implementation and upgrade projects within Supply Chain and Manufacturing – I have also been part of creating Addovation Academy.”

Emy Anspach
IFS Business Consultant

“I’m really glad I applied to the consultant program—it has been a fun and learning experience. I’ve had the opportunity to apply my finance knowledge while gaining new insights into IFS, which has been a great combination. The work environment is fantastic, with supportive and friendly colleagues who are always willing to help when needed. I’ve also had the privilege of working with two excellent mentors throughout my time at Addovation, both during the program and beyond!”

When does the program start?

The application period for our Consultant Program in Norway/Finland is now open until May 9th, with the program starting in the end of august/beginning of September 2025.

The start depends on which ERP system you will focus.

Length of the Program

Approximately 4 months combined with practical experience within projects.

Where is it located?

This year, this extended introduction/program is hosted in Sweden, Norway, or Finland. In Sweden, it’s held in either Gothenburg or Jönköping, while in Norway, it takes place in Drammen or Oslo.

In Finland, the program is only available for NetSuite Consultants and is located in Helsinki.

What kind of background is relevant for this role?

You could come from various backgrounds, depending on which focus area of the ERP system you’re interested in.

As a Finance Consultant, you might bring a few years of experience in financial operations, including ongoing accounting tasks, accounts receivable and payable, invoice processing and payments, VAT reporting, and financial closing activities. A background in finance will allow you to leverage your expertise while working with ERP systems to streamline financial processes.

For Supply Chain, you could come from roles such as a Logistics Coordinator, Procurement Specialist/Buyer, Demand Planner, or similar positions. Experience in supply chain management, inventory control, logistics, and procurement will equip you to optimize supply chain functions within the ERP system, ensuring seamless operations from procurement to delivery.

In Manufacturing, you might have a background in production planning, maintenance, or related fields. Experience in managing production schedules, equipment maintenance, or lean manufacturing processes would enable you to support ERP implementations focused on improving production efficiency, resource planning, and overall manufacturing workflows.

For the Project Management area (it’s not to be mixed up with being a project manager – yes, we know it’s a bit confusing 😊) you may come from a project-driven environment such as construction, telecommunications, manufacturing, or oil and gas. You might have worked as a process owner, or in a role where you were responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on projects. Your deep understanding of project processes such as resource procurement, project planning, financial reporting, and tracking will be valuable in optimizing project management workflows within the ERP system.

In Maintenance/Service, you may have experience working in service-oriented roles like a service coordinator, maintenance planner, field technician, or service/maintenance technician. Your expertise in managing day-to-day service or maintenance operations will be instrumental in improving how businesses utilize ERP systems to streamline their service and asset management processes.

Each of these areas offers unique opportunities to apply your expertise while contributing to the successful implementation and optimization of ERP solutions.

What is an ERP system?

An Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is a software used by organizations to manage various functions such as finance, manufacturing, project management, and human resources. By integrating these areas into a single system, an ERP provides a comprehensive view of the entire organization, while also allowing users to easily focus on specific parts when needed.

Business Area IFS

Addovation has been working with IFS and their ERP solutions since 2008. Today, we are a Regional System Integrator, which means we implement, upgrade, support, and create innovative add-ons and integrations for IFS Applications and IFS Cloud. We have many successful projects behind us and have one of the largest consultant teams in the Nordics within IFS ERP.

IFS is an ERP system designed to help businesses manage key operations like finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and project management. It offers a flexible and integrated platform, enabling organizations to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and make data-driven decisions. IFS is known for its user-friendly interface and strong capabilities in industries such as manufacturing, aerospace, and energy.

Business Area NetSuite

Addovation has been an Oracle Alliance Partner since 2019 and has since delivered several successful NetSuite solutions. We have certified consultants in the Nordics who can quickly implement, support, and integrate NetSuite solutions.

We also offer our own products that benefit NetSuite users.

NetSuite is a cloud-based ERP system that helps businesses manage financials, CRM, e-commerce, inventory, and more. It provides real-time insights, automates processes, and supports growth by integrating various functions into one platform. NetSuite is widely used across industries like retail, manufacturing, and professional services.

Other

The program’s content and schedule are partly flexible, as the customer projects you become involved in may influence the structure. However, we can guarantee that you will acquire all the necessary knowledge and tools to build a solid foundation in your consulting role.
