Hallingplast selects Addovation and IFS Applications

Hallingplast, one of Norway’s largest and modern plastic pipe manufacturers, has entered into an agreement with Addovation on the implementation of the IFS Applications™ business system. Hallingplast has grown strongly in recent years and needs a new platform to support further growth.

The most important thing for us was choosing a long-term partner who understands our work processes and a system that supports all our future needs,” says Steinar Tragethon, founder and General Manager of Hallingplast.

“With our strong growth, we have a need to ensure that we work as effectively as possible. Our choice fell on Addovation and IFS Applications™. With Addovation’s expertise and an ERP system that is a market leader within production, logistics, CRM, project and economy, we feel confident that we have made a good choice. Addovation and IFS also have great customer references within the production sector, and this was of great importance to us selecting a partner and a system” he continues.

The solution will support all business processes in Hallingplast, from quotations, orders, purchasing, production planning and production, warehousing and transport, in one solution. “This gives us full traceability and transparency across the value chain, where automated and integrated processes provide efficient workflows.”

Addovation has also grown considerably the recent years, and is approaching 100 employees in Scandinavia. They only work on the ERP solution IFS Applications™, and have an implementation method that is suitable for small and medium-sized businesses. This will ensure that Hallingplast can maintain daily operation while implementing the new system.

“We are very proud of the agreement with Hallingplast, which has been won in strong competition with the largest ERP suppliers in the market. Our knowledge of the production industry along with the  ERP system IFS Applications™ was an important factor for Hallingplast when selecting a suitable partner, and this proves that pure competence companies such as Addovation are competitive in this market. We look forward to assisting Hallingplast in achieving their goals” says Per Inge Sævareid, CEO of Addovation.

“IFS Applications™ is created for companies as Hallingplast. We are proud that Addovation once again shows that they can provide the Norwegian market with great solutions when using IFS Applications™. Hallingplast is new addition to our growing number of customers, which put digitalisation at the forefront.” Says Fredrik Edendahl, Channel Partner Director at IFS Nordics.

The project has already started and will be completed before the end of 2019.
