Today, I had the pleasure of attending the “Forretningsystemer 2024” conference by Devoteam, and it was truly insightful. Now, from the comfort of my couch, I’ve taken a moment to summarize the day, and I believe it’s worth sharing.

So, here’s a “brief” recap (with a special “last but not least” mention 😉):
- The Crucial Role of Cloud Services: Devoteam emphasized the critical role that cloud services play in ensuring competitiveness and efficient operational processes in today’s businesses. It’s not just about innovation; it’s a necessity. Embracing cloud platforms is the way forward! ☁️
- Organizational Alignment and Change Management: We also discussed the importance of organizational alignment and change management when it comes to implementing composable ERP systems. It requires a holistic approach to achieve success.
- Data Utilization and Transitioning from Outdated Systems: Another exciting topic was data utilization and transitioning from outdated systems. This opens up new opportunities and allows businesses to leverage valuable data resources.
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA): RPA was also a hot topic. We learned how automation can save time, reduce costs, and enhance processes in an impressive manner.
And last, but certainly not least, I’d like to share a special pride with you all. During the conference, I had the pleasure of listening to our talented colleague and Senior Solution Architect, Torbjörn Wahlgren. He shared his valuable experiences and insights from Havfram’s successful implementation of IFS Cloud. His presentation garnered significant interest among the participants! 🌊💼
