Global cable manufacturer upgrades to IFS Cloud with Addovation

Successful NetSuite Go-Live Achieved at Moralis in Just 3 Months

The implementation of IFS Applications 10 for the UK and Nordic market took place over several months and involved significant collaboration between Orkla House Care and Addovation. Addovation also provided additional services to improve the overall functionality of the software. The project, which began in 2022, aimed to upgrade Ulefos’ ERP solution and improve their business processes.

Successful IFS Upgrade at Odfjell Technology & Odfjell Drilling

Odfjell Technology and Odfjell Drilling, the Norwegian Oil Drilling, Well Services, Operations and Engineering companies with 3800 employees, went live with an upgraded version of IFS Applications in January. Addovation, which has a long-standing relationship with Odfjell, functioned as the technical upgrade partner in the project.

Technical expertise 

Addovation was responsible for migrating data between the old and new version. In addition, they were responsible for developing the required modifications, integrations, and reports (CRIMs) to the standard solution.

HEXPOL has decided to upgrade to IFS Cloud™

IFS, the global cloud enterprise software company, has announced that HEXPOL has decided to upgrade to the latest IFS Cloud™ solution to streamline processes and enhance sustainability within Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, CRM, HR, Procurement, Asset- and Recipe Management. Addovation’s project team members have a long history together with HEXPOL Engineered Products, which started over 20 years ago with an implementation and have upgraded their applications throughout the years.

The upgrade will, for example, enable HEXPOL Engineered Products to navigate complex supply chain challenges while improving their ability to meet customer expectations of short lead times from order to shipment. The migration will be deployed across HEXPOL Engineered Products’ seven production plants and distribution centers in multiple countries.

By upgrading to IFS Cloud, HEXPOL will have improved visibility over all company transactions and shipments, as well as faster and easier access to performance data. This, in turn, will give the company faster time to insight and better return on its capital employed. With the upgrade, HEXPOL will also be able to easily access a range of tools to track the company’s environmental impact and demonstrate accountability and transparency.

Successful Go live with IFS Cloud at Finnish customer Prevex

Prevex, a leading supplier of water traps from Finland, went live with IFS Cloud™ in November. Addovation was selected as the preferred long-term ERP partner and was responsible for the upgrade.

Greater control with evergreen solutions

One of the major benefits of IFS Cloud is that upgrades happen automatically two times a year. With Evergreen, Prevex can always be on the latest software version without disruptions with full-scale upgrades. It gives them greater visibility, predictability, control, and flexibility in planning their business development and adopting new capabilities from IFS. “We are truly excited about this go live”, says Niclas Öster, CIO at Prevex. “With IFS Cloud, we now have a solid ERP solution that supports our business processes and future growth. With the capability of evergreen, we do not have to deal with the disruptions of time-consuming upgrades! At the same time, it enables us to adopt new technology and functionality without delay.”

A competent ERP Partner saves time

Prevex selected Addovation because of their competence. Not only was Addovation in charge of the upgrade, but they also deliver hosting and managed services to the water trap producer.

Modern cloud integrations with Boomi

Boomi offers a Integration Platform as a Service (iPaas) designed and developed for application and data integration in a single, scalable, cloud-based solution. The platform is based on a single instance with multi-tenant architecture. It has a distributed and scalable architecture, and it supports both cloud- and hybrid integration solutions. With Boomi, the time to market for building integration solutions has been greatly reduced. Prevex now has an integration platform that will be a key cornerstone for their business success stories.

A long-term perspective

A long-term perspective is essential when dealing with ERP. You need a strategy and a clear vision of the solution. Next up for Prevex will be implementing the HCM and Quality Assurance module.
