IFS has announced that Work Order-based Service Management capabilities are expected to be deprecated by November 2027. Going forward, Request Management within IFS Cloud Service Lifecycle Management (SLM) will be the strategic platform for managing service operations.

Request Management is designed to support the entire service lifecycle, from the initial customer request through planning, execution, and completion.

It provides a more modern and flexible approach to service management, helping organizations streamline processes and improve visibility across service operations.
