The acquisition of EBS Consulting strengthens Addovation’s position as a strategic partner for companies seeking to optimize their business processes through cloud-based ERP solutions. This makes Addovation the preferred NetSuite partner in the Nordics, with local expertise and support in three of the region’s largest markets.

Consolis’ Digital Transformation with Addovation’s Expertise

We are thrilled to share that TU.no has published an insightful article about Consolis’ recent upgrade to IFS Cloud™, a project proudly supported by Addovation. The construction industry in 2024 faces numerous challenges, including increased costs, lower demand, and the pressing need for sustainability.

Consolis, a key player in the European and North African markets for prefabricated concrete elements, is addressing these challenges head-on with innovative solutions and a strong commitment to reducing CO2 emissions.

Local Focus, Global Integration

Consolis emphasizes the importance of local markets while ensuring global integration. The IT teams work on both local tasks and broader service delivery, supported by a flexible and efficient IT infrastructure. Wijnen highlights the importance of a flat organizational structure and the trust placed in the IT teams to manage themselves effectively. He states, “The IT teams don’t need to be in the offices at all times. I myself am based in Barcelona, and I believe in a flat organizational structure. We should have fun at work, but we should also deliver, and we see that management trusts us.”

Implementing IFS Cloud™ for Enhanced Efficiency

The upgrade to IFS Cloud marks a significant step in Consolis’ digital transformation. This upgrade aims to standardize and enhance functionality across all markets, starting with a pilot project in Sweden. The project was designed to be completed within six months, with clear objectives and excellent cooperation between Consolis and Addovation. Wijnen explains, “The project was very clear from start to finish, and we had excellent cooperation with Addovation. It was important for us to implement right out of the box without writing extra code, and Addovation delivered on that.”

The results of the upgrade are already evident. Consolis’ IT architecture is now simpler, allowing users to access necessary data directly from IFS Cloud. This improvement has enhanced control over financial aspects and overall operations, providing the simplicity, precision, and timing needed in today’s market. Wijnen notes, “Our IT architecture has become simpler. Before, we had to live with different systems that you had to go into and check data. Now users can just go into IFS Cloud and retrieve what they need.”

Commitment to Sustainability

Sustainability remains a top priority for Consolis. The company offers the Green Spine Line®, a product series with low-emission products that use less cement and are lighter. The upgrade to IFS Cloud supports Consolis’ sustainability goals by facilitating easier data extraction for sustainability reports and integrating applications for seamless operations. Wijnen emphasizes, “Part of the strategy is to be able to extract all the data we use for sustainability reports more easily. IFS Cloud is very sophisticated when it comes to quick access to data and integrating applications that make it even more seamless.”

As Consolis continues to modernize its operations, the pilot project with IFS Cloud is just the beginning. Wijnen concludes, “We are spread across Europe, and we are in full swing modernizing to make everyday life greener and more focused.”

Global cable manufacturer upgrades to IFS Cloud with Addovation

The upgrade, which is expected to take place in Q2 2024, will be managed by IFS partner, Addovation.

Once fully implemented, IFS Cloud will support users and operations in four manufacturing sites in Germany, Poland, Sweden, and China.
